After not being able to work and be creative for several months due to Covid-19, this Mallorca sunset couple shoot literally brought me back to life! I met Ieva and Daniel during the sunset on one of my favourite beaches in Mallorca, that is very laid back, covers 5km stretch of a coast and has a mountain backdrop.
It’s been four years now since Ieva and Daniel met each other on the small British island Guernsey. Ieva first went to Gernsey when she was 17 years old and that time she really hated it! When she returned back home to Latvia, she swore to never go back to this small island again. But four years later she did came back and things worked out differently this time. Ieva met Daniel on the dating app Tinder and she says :”When I met him for the first time on our first date in a coffee shop, I saw his eyes and in that moment an inner voice told me “he is the one”!” Very soon they started living together, had jobs, a nice home but something was missing in their lives. So they bought a van and left Guernsey to search their happiness in another country somewhere in the south. They road tripped to France, drove through Spain and stayed for a while in Portugal surfing the beautiful Algarve coast. One day someone told them about the beautiful island Mallorca and now its been already two years since they are living this Mediterranean lifestyle.
They left an island to live their dream on another island. Ieva makes sustainable, handcrafted jewellery and has her own brand Dzerve Jewellery, which you can check out and buy on Etsy. Daniel surfs and teaches kitesurfing. Ieva and Daniel are adventurous, laid back, kind and beautiful in all ways and I really enjoyed running on the beach barefoot with them for this Mallorca sunset couple shoot.
